Why on earth do we think we are all supposed to be living the same life?
God wouldn’t have given us all a unique finger print if he wanted our mark in this life to all be the same.
Just think about it. There are over 7 billion people on this planet. And not one of us has an identical finger print.
There is a uniqueness about you that God has placed in your heart. You may not know what it is yet, but life will show you if you are open.
When I was married to my late husband, he was so involved in so many different things, speaking engagements, helping the community and just being open and available to help anyone. I used to think, what should I be doing? Yes I was a good Mom, supporting the household and working a full-time job, but I still had no idea if that was it, or if there was something more. I had no idea the plan God had for my life and that I would find a greater purpose in helping others navigate through grief. That God would use my generally positive spirit to become a mindfulness coach, and that I could reach outside of myself to do more.
Had I not stepped out of my comfort zone, I would have missed the opportunity to learn more about myself and continue to grow.
What do you want? Do you want to stay where you are? Or do you want to remain open to the possibilities of growth and learning more about who you are?
I hope you chose to remain open. I hope that even on your worst days during your jouney you remember that you still have breath in your body and that every time you take a breath, it’s an opportunity to look forward and carve a new path for your self. I hope that you choose to be uncomfortable for growth. Plant the seeds and water them. There might be some days where the soil dries out because you have nothing left and that’s OK. Stay the course. Even if there is a day you don’t move, continue to look forward. Commit and challenge yourself to growth. Just like a Daisy.
And if you need some guidance, I am here to help you along the way.
